Trade show proposal · San Francisco
A branded flipbook studio inside your 20x30 booth. Guests star in a 7-second cyber scene, walk out holding a 60-page printed flipbook with your brand on the cover, and carry it across the show floor. The printed book is the whole show, and it fits right alongside your own lead platform.

01 · The objective
Security buyers walk past a lot of booths. A live film set with a line of people laughing at their own flipbooks is the one thing on the aisle that makes them stop. Every step of the experience is built around a call to action.
Aisle-facing monitor looping live flips, a green screen set in plain view, and a crew that pulls people in.
CTA: "Star in a 7-second cyber thriller. Free flipbook in 90 seconds."
Guests linger about 2 minutes, the perfect window for your team to scan badges on your own platform and talk, then a 90-second book pickup at a counter your team owns.
CTA: "While it prints, let us show you what we stop."
The book rides home in a jacket pocket and lands on a desk. Your logo is on the front, your offer is on the back.
CTA: "Scan to book a demo" on the back cover.
You told us digital delivery is not allowed and you run lead capture on your own platform. So the default setup collects no guest data on our side and sends nothing to phones. The printed flipbook is the hero.
How it works at the booth
While guests wait, your team can scan badges on your own platform and start the conversation.
Cyber-themed green screen backgrounds: outrun a breach, dodge malware in a data center, deflect an attack at the firewall.
Our director counts down 3-2-1 and guests see themselves composited live on screen.
Printed, cut and bound on site. In hand in about 90 seconds, with your branded cover.
02 · Flipbook branding
The cover wraps the book in one printed piece: back, spine and front. We design it from scratch, send proofs, and print on site. The last page inside carries a custom message too. Mockups use stand-in branding until we have your logo and brand guide.
Cover wrap trim is 7 17/32" x 2". Panel proportions shown are approximate.
Logo mark plus brand name and booth number. It is the side people see when the book sits on a desk or in a stack at the pickup counter.
A closing frame inside the book: "Thanks for stopping by. Now go stop some threats." plus booth number.
03 · Why it works on a show floor
Guests linger about 2 minutes, the perfect time for your team to scan badges and talk. Your lead capture stays on your system, and no guest data touches ours.
Film, watch playback, wait about 90 seconds for the book. That dwell time is when your reps start real conversations with qualified buyers.
Pens and stress balls hit the hotel trash. A flipbook of yourself goes home, gets shown to coworkers, and sits on the desk for months with your logo facing out.
Digital delivery is against the conference rules, so this program is 100% printed. Nothing is sent to phones and no guest data touches our systems. The book is the deliverable, and the call to action rides on its back cover.
04 · Booth traffic tactics
Add "Make your flipbook at Booth ####" to pre-show emails and meeting invites. A free, fun reason to stop by gets more replies than another demo ask.
Open the green screen and print station toward the main aisle so people watch books being made. An aisle-facing monitor loops the best flips.
Guests wait in line and at pickup, giving your team easy moments to scan badges on your own platform. Nothing runs through us.
Books come out about 90 seconds after filming. That wait becomes a natural, low-pressure conversation with a rep at the pickup counter.
Every guest carries a branded book around the floor. People ask "where did you get that?", and the cover answers: Booth ####.
Open strong at 9 AM, push the lunch lull, and use timed slots or "demo plus flipbook" bundles for key accounts.
Booth flow concept
You are designing the booth, so treat this as a starting sketch. The studio works best at about 14 x 14 ft, roughly a third of the footprint, and we regularly make tighter spaces work.
05 · Throughput
At 300 to 400 guests over a 7-hour day, the average pace is about 43 to 57 books per hour. Books are unlimited during show hours: one station produces about 70 an hour, which covers that pace. A second cutting station is available as optional peak capacity.
| Option A · one cutting station | Optional peak capacity · second cutting station | |
|---|---|---|
| Crew | 2 (director + producer) | 3 (director + 2 producers) |
| Books per hour | Up to ~70 | ~120 to 140 |
| Per 7-hour day | Up to ~490 | Up to ~980 |
| Across 3 days | Up to ~1,470 | Up to ~2,940 |
| At 400 guests/day | Covers the full daily range, unlimited books | Shorter lines at peak moments |
Filming time. Plan 30 to 60 seconds at the set including prep and playback.
From the end of filming to a finished book in hand.
Two guests can film together, and each one gets their own book.
These are up-to rates at steady flow. Real pace depends on guest flow, group books and the odd toner swap, which is why we size honestly.
